Description:
Caution! Please do not destroy the User page!

If you look at http://test.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?
title=User:Gangleri&oldid=3610 it looks quite odd.

a) Please edit this old version and MAKE A PREVIEW. You will see,
that ALL REFERENCES LOOK FINE. What's this? PLEASE DO NOT OWERWRITE
THE ACTUAL PAGE! timestamped 20:53, 26 Sep 2004

b) The actual page (timestamped 20:53, 26 Sep 2004) seems working
fine, because I inserted some dummy after "some en shortcuts".

c) I used Copy and paste and placed the same content both at
http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Gangleri/test_01 and
http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Gangleri/test_01. There the
same code looks OK. What's this?

Please let me know more about this. Would be happy if you would send
me related bugs on InterWiki problems by e-mail. I'm new here and
have no idea how wo use bugzill search, know all what I should
avoid. Thanks!

Earlier these days Chuck SMITH told me that I should contact Brion
VIBBER regardind various "My own ... questions" at
http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Gangleri at
http://bugzilla.wikipedia.org/ . Can he e-mail me?

How odd. I'm changing the summary of this bug to better reflect the actual
problem: that all the escaped inter-language links ([[:xx:page name]]) are
simply not showing up in the rendered page.

I'm tempted to just say "well, it's the unstable version, it's just being
unstable", seeing as the problem is sort-of no longer there. But it remains true
that:

  1. previews of the text show up the links; it would appear that just making a

trivial edit *didn't*, since multiple versions show the problem

  1. the change that fixed the problem was seemingly irrelevant
  2. the broken versions of the pages still show as broken - so it's not that the

software has changed, and the problem is no longer there.

Probably same as bug 1091, which is reported as fixed.

Since no detailed test case was given and test wikipedia is now closed, it's difficult to reproduce this without more information.
Resolving as duplicate of 1091 pending more details.
