Please, keep in mind that this is my first patch ever done. This is my first
contribution to the Free Software , so, there´s a chance that I may commit some
mistakes... I would like to receive advice on how should I proceed.

Thanks you all...

I have just released the very first version of WikiPDF - a
Mediawiki Extension based on wiki2pdf

It is available at:
http://aluno.no-ip.info/slivre/wikipdf/wikipdf-mediawiki-extension-0.01.tar.bz2

It still has lots of references to wikipedia and a few bugs. It is the
same as my old patch but now it is coded as an extension, so it can
match a larger number of versions of mediawiki and it does not mess
with mediawiki core anymore.

You can test it on my personal wiki at http://aluno.no-ip.info/juca

The WikiPDF extension would be a great help.

I want to give a small summary from
What is the Best Way to Display Yiddish Text on Websites?
http://mysite.verizon.net/jialpert/YidText/YiddishOnWeb.htm

During the past many users (using various browsers and operating systems)
experienced great problems to see pages in Yiddish correctly. Things are
improuving but some sites prefer to display text in Yiddish as "images".

Images just allows to read the text correctly. No way to search, no Google support.

That site proposes to use the / some Yiddish *Precombined* Unicode characters.
Please note that MediaWiki converts *Precombined* Unicode characters to
*Non-Precombined* Unicode characters.

I assume that nobody has made en enquiry about how WP:YI and WIKT:YI renders /
what would be the best way to choose.

I have no idea if PDF rendering on a system would be OK if browser rendering on
the same system is wrong. That would be fine.

Keeping testing the test wiki.

Resolving LATER since there's a separate extension package now.

Changed url to

because http://143.107.161.168/mw_test0 generates error 403 Forbidden

Wiki do Juca is running MediaWiki: 1.5.1 .

[[mw:Extension:Collection]] does this sort of thing these days, and is enabled on Wikipedia sites.
