news:, ftp: and other terms in URL break the link
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: wiki_tomos

Description:
A URL such as "http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Workplace" is interpreted as
a link to http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wiki It seems that "news:" as well as
"ftp:" and other similar strings are interpreted to have special meaning when in
a URL.

The problem occurs with pagenames or section names within a wiki tag [[]] when
there is "news:" or other specific strings.

Version: 1.4.x
