At the moment we're unable to delete some pages that have many thousands of
links to them, at least on de.wikipedia and for a couple of days now (tested by
many sysops under different individual conditions - without any success
(only deletion of some revisions is needed, of course).
This is the case for top ranked pages on [[de:Spezial:Mostlinked]], e.g. for
[[de:Deutschland]] (25,364 links), linked to from nearly all articles with german
topics, and for [[de:Free Software Foundation]] (49,280 links), linked to mainly
from GFDL templates.
But the number of links seems not to be the only factor, because I was able to
delete the "USA" today ;-) what is actually a redirect with 27,695 links to -
just a little more than to "Deutschland".
And not even removing the links to the FSF article from the GFDL templates
doesn't have an effect.
Note: The ususal error message is such as:
